Remakes seem to be all the rage with game studios at the moment, so why not look to the PS3 era? Taking well-received games and remaking them for modern consoles, allows new gamers to experience them and older gamers to relive them all over again. Some may receive a straightforward remaster, enhancing the original game’s visuals and performance alongside the capabilities of new consoles. However, these first-party PlayStation 3 games deserve a full remake, rebuilt from the ground up. Some remakes tend to make changes to the story, gameplay and overall design to better suit the modern hardware and improve parts players may not have found so great in the past.
