In The Thaumaturge, Wiktor Szulski begins his journey in the aftermath of a disastrous failed attempt to capture a Salutor. This has weakened his connection to his first Salutor and, as a result, weakened many of his abilities as a Thaumaturge. Fortunately, as the game progresses and Wiktor continues his journey he will be able to level up and improve his abilities.
