Bezeq International has announced a strategic partnership with Israeli cybersecurity firm Enigmatos to enhance protections for commercial vehicle fleets. The agreement will integrate Enigmatos’ advanced monitoring technology into Bezeq International’s Security Operations Center (SOC), offering real-time defense against cyber threats.

Enigmatos specializes in automotive cybersecurity, providing solutions that can be installed post-manufacturing to address security vulnerabilities in fleet operations. One of the biggest challenges in vehicle cybersecurity is detecting intrusions within the Controller Area Network (CAN), which manages internal communications in vehicles. Enigmatos has already demonstrated its technology’s effectiveness by securing public transportation fleets in Hungary.

Under the new partnership, Bezeq International will use Enigmatos’ solutions to monitor fleet systems, detect cyberattacks, and implement immediate countermeasures. The system aims to protect sensitive data, prevent operational disruptions, and ensure fleet security in an era where vehicles function as “computers on wheels.”

Sharon Ezra, vice president of business solutions at Bezeq International, highlighted the partnership’s significance, calling it “a comprehensive and unique defense” against evolving cyber threats. Enigmatos CEO Neta Lempert emphasized the growing risks for fleet operators, noting that cybercriminals are increasingly targeting commercial vehicles.

“In today’s era, a vehicle is essentially a computer on wheels, requiring dedicated computerized systems for fleet operations,” said Lempert. “This field has become a prime target for cyberattacks, with commercial vehicle fleets particularly vulnerable to sophisticated and evolving threats.”

Bezeq International, a major IT and communications provider in Israel, collaborates with top tech firms like Microsoft, AWS, Cisco, and Check Point. Oded Turgeman, head of cybersecurity services, stated that combining Enigmatos’ cutting-edge technology with Bezeq’s expertise would provide significant value to fleet operators looking for advanced protection.
