It’s been a pretty interesting decade for Bungie. After leaving the Halo franchise behind in 2010 with the incredible swansong that was Halo Reach, Bungie set about creating its first new IP in almost a decade, and that resulted in the studio’s newest sci-fi blockbuster hit, Destiny. Though the original Destiny had its flaws, its universe, character and enemy designs, and general gameplay all showed some real potential, potential that was fully realized with the launch of Destiny 2 in 2017.
